About Me

ME, MYSELF, and I

♥ Praise the Lord! My name is Tracy and I'm 21 years old. I was born and raised in Olongapo City, Philippines. I'm a Born Again Christian who lives by faith under the mighty hands of the living God, redeemed by the Blood of Jesus, and set free by the amazing Grace of my Lord. I currently work as an art/ESL teacher at a language school in Subic. I handle kids ages 2-6 years old, usually Koreans. I enjoy teaching kids very much! I'm taking Elementary Education in Mondriaan Aura College, but since I'm working, I had to stop for a while but hoping to continue soon and be able to graduate with that degree, if the Lord wills.

♥ I love my family! I'm the youngest and the only daughter in our family of 5. My brothers and I live here in the Philippines, while my parents moved to Washington, USA just last November 2009. I was born Catholic but raised as a Born-Again Christian and I'm praying to have my own God-fearing family one day with whomever God will unite me with. :-)

♥ I also love the family of God which God has brought me into, the New Covenant Christian Center, International (NCCC). Our church here in the Philippines is a fruit of the World Outreach ministry of NCCC in San Jose, California, established by our father in the faith, Bro. Kim Gossett. Through God's blessings, this ministry has also reached some parts of Kenya, India, Pakistan, and Myanmar to save souls, feed the hungry, and clothe the poor.
Where we belong as a part of the Body of Christ or simply the church where we are a member of is a major part of every Christian's life. That's why I'm proud to belong to the NCCC because it is steadily built upon the foundations of the Kingdom of God. We are diligently being taught about the FEAR OF GOD and HOLINESS around the Word of God ONLY. As Youth, we are always taught to be and provoked to keep our selves pure as holy young men and young women of God (Romans 12:1), being a light amidst this present dark and ungodly generation. We are always encouraged to watch what we speak, do, wear, listen to, watch, hang-out with, as well as our lifestyle and character, if it reflects Jesus. Men are being raised up spiritually on how to be a good servant and disciple of the Lord and be a 'man after God's own heart, while women are taught to follow the image of a Virtuous Woman that the Bible tells us of in Proverbs 31, 1 Peter 5, and Titus 2.

•◘○◙  MY PASSION  •◘○◙

As far as I can remember, my passion for writing started during my mid-teens when a cousin of mine, coming from America, visited our country and brought with her a book called the Chickensoup for the Soul. She let me read it and I fell in love with the wonderful stories stated in there. From then on, I got inspired to write my own stories and poems as well about anything I could think of. Since then also, Journalism has became my favorite subject, particularly Feature Writing. Though I already quit reading Chickensoup Series today, there's one book that has replaced my very source of inspiration: the Bible. I'm not a bookworm at all, but the Bible is the ONLY book in this world that has kept me reading over and over again. The more I read it, the more I learn of my Christ...and the more I learn of my Christ, the more I fall in love with Him. So the more I fall in love with Him, the more I get inspired to write!

♥ Just as I love to write, I also love Music and anything that has to do with it! Listening, singing, playing an instrument, or even writing songs...Music is God's given gift that drives my soul and uplifts my Spirit. I learned to play the Piano when I was 4 years old. For 4 consecutive years, I remember being part of our music school's huge recital held every summer where I get to play the piano on stage alone. Yet on my 4th year of performing in front of a huge crowd, I got so nervous and made a mistake in the middle of playing, ending my piece like a disaster! From then on, I quit playing the piano. My passion for playing only came back when I learned to play the guitar during my senior year in high school. I learned that the piano and guitar's chords are the same. So it encouraged me to refresh my piano skills, at the same time, develop my guitar skills. Today, though I'm not a professional player on either of the two, God was able to make a way for my skills to be used for His glory. In 2008, He put in my heart to join the Worship Team in our church. Despite my fear on stage, the Lord strengthened me each week I play. Until this time, my love for the Lord and my love for music continues to grow together, resulting to my increasing Heart of Worship towards the Lord God Almighty who created me.
